Why Education?

In Africa, education has the power to end the poverty cycle, opening doors to limitless possibilities.

244 million children and youth worldwide miss out on education

In Africa alone, about 42 million children are not in school. Education isn't just a ticket to a better life; it's the key to rewriting the narrative of poverty. It opens doors to career opportunities, imparts entrepreneurial and networking abilities, and equips children to solve community problems through creativity and innovation.

An educated child today becomes the educator of tomorrow, uplifting communities and catalyzing Africa's economic growth. Let's envision the future we can shape through education: a future of opportunity, empowerment, and a thriving Africa.

Access to education changes everything.

OPPORTUNITY

Lack of education perpetuates a cycle of limited opportunity. Across the globe, millions of children face barriers to schooling, denying them the chance to break free from poverty.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Education ignites creativity, innovation, and the ability to build businesses that can transform lives and communities.

PROBLEM-SOLVING

Education instills problem-solving abilities, enabling individuals to tackle community issues like poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation with creative and sustainable solutions.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

Awareness and understanding of the environment grow through education. Educated communities are more likely to engage in sustainable practices, contributing to environmental conservation and ensuring a healthier future.

ECONOMIC GROWTH

Education is the engine of economic progress. It equips individuals with the skills needed for a rapidly evolving job market, boosting productivity and contributing to the overall economic growth of nations.

How do we tackle the education crisis?

We create and run sustainable projects that enable children across Africa to access education. These children, in turn, return to their communities to solve problems through creativity and innovation, breaking the cycle of poverty and suffering.

EduGreen provides students with financial support, ensuring that they not only stay in school but also develop a passion for combating climate change, nurturing a generation of environmentally conscious individuals.

Hawi Threads of Change teaches students practical skills that allow them to finance their education independently. This approach instills self-reliance and a sense of entrepreneurship, creating opportunities for sustainable academic growth.

One-Dollar-Back-to-School initiative rallies global donors to raise funds for schools and children. By mobilizing resources internationally, we bridge gaps in educational funding, ensuring that children across the African continent have the support they need to thrive academically.

The Chipukizi program focuses on training high school graduates to seize opportunities at the university level. By imparting skills and knowledge, we equip the next generation with the tools to capitalize on academic opportunities, creating a pathway to skilled and entrepreneurial careers.

Why Should You Invest in Education?

Education stands as a robust investment, offering one of the most potent catalysts for economic growth in human history. Access to quality education not only transforms lives but also fuels the engine of prosperity, unlocking the potential for individuals and societies to thrive.
